Rroan relaxed as she pressed the print button for her final paper. After saving it for the last time, she closed the program and logged off. Taking the paper, she went and sat on the blue fluffy couch at the other end of the room. She dropped her bag next to her, and her right arm rested on the arm of the couch, her head lulling back into the sofa cushions. Her face muscles were tired; people said she made all kinds of faces while she would edit her essays. Rroan smiled. I think two days late isn't too bad. I mean, seeing as there were parties on both days, Rroan assured herself.
Her teachers were already confused about her habits because she would have great papers, but would always turn them in right. "Stupid teacher making me write stupid essays," she mumbled. This essay had truly been ridiculous to her, and in her message to the teacher, she had told him that straight up. Oh well. It is over and done. Rroan let out a long yawn. She had stayed up until about 4:30 AM at the party the night before.
Rroan crossed her arms, her skin looking pale against the tanner students around her. She had on a simple white tank top with a grey camisole underneath. The straps of her pink bra could be seen as the camisole's straps thinned. It was warm in the lobby, but she had a heavy, trusty hoodie that she could put over her arms as she walked back to the dorms. On her legs, she wore rolled sweat pants with loose pant ends, her girl boxers underneath. Her tan canvas messenger bag sat next to her holding the newly finished paper, along with some pens, pencils, post-its, books and more papers. Her short hair was in a bit of a mess, and her eyes were closed, trying to grasp at threads of energy she didn't seem to have. As she sat there she dosed off a bit, still holding onto consciousness enough to hear mummers of people and the T.V.

Run, baby, run! Don’t ever look back. They’ll tear us apart if you give them the chance. Rroan's blue eyes shot open. My phone... Rroan looked around before spotting her bag next to her. She pulled out her phone and answered it, sliding her finger across the iPhone's frame. "Hello?" Rroan asked a little sleepily. "..." Rroan took the phone off her ear, looking at the caller ID. She didn't recognize it. Before she put it back on her ear, the page froze up and the call was ended.
"Oh, well." Rroan looked around stretching her arms a bit. There weren't many people around just a couple of people at computers and one boy sitting at one of the other couches.
The boy was a little intimidating, but Rroan had met a lot of guys who looked like him. They were usually really nice. Or at the very least, fun to chat with. Just going up to him would look so weird... hmm. Maybe I could ask him if he is in a band. Her has a microphone tattooed on his arm, so... Rroan got up, grabbed her bag and walked towards the boy. "So, are you in a band?" she asked when she was in hearing distance. She stopped only after she had reached the couch. "Do you mind if I sit?" she added before he could answer the first question.

Rroan waited for a moment, awkwardly, as he stared at her. Umm... Did I do something wrong? she thought nervously to herself. When he finally answered the question, she quietly let out the breath she had subconsciously been holding. As she sat down next to him, she noticed their legs were almost touching. She put her bag down next to her so that it slumped a little onto the couch. Turning back to him, she looked into his pale gray eyes. She always looked into people's eyes. That was where half the emotions lay in wait to be let loose.
"That is a really cool name. What are you in the band? Vocals, bass, drums? What genre are you too?" Rroan shot off the questions rapidly before pausing and waiting for him to answer. She liked a lot of different music. She usually listened to alternative/rock, but sometimes she would wonder into other categories. Over all, she wasn't very specific. Rroan had to bite her lip to stop herself from asking more before he even got a chance to answer.
She tucked her hair behind her ear, a little uncomfortably. She couldn't figure out exactly why she was so awkward. Perhaps it was the pause at the beginning. She was usually so blunt with people. 'I like your lip ring. Or her personal favorite, Do you know that smoking kills you and me at the same time? As long as you are fine with killing someone, that is good for you.' In truth, she knew what it would be hard, near impossible for some, to stop an addiction. She was fine with the addiction as long as they knew the consequences. Rroan focused back onto the situation in front of her. I hope I am not intruding on anything, she thought to herself.

Rroan could tell he was getting uncomfortable. She looked down, at her hand now intermingled with each other in her lap. "That makes sense. And yes, I do like music. It always calms my nerves," Rroan replied softly. I wish I had it playing right now, she continued in her head. From the reaction she was getting, it didn't seem like he wanted her there. Maybe he just didn't like me... staring into his eyes? This had never happened quite this way before, not that she had ever gone up to a random guy in the student lounge before and asked about music. Now she didn't think it would ever happen again.
Rroan looked up, but not into his eyes this time. "I am sorry if I am bothering you. I can leave if you want me to, I just really liked your tattoos and stuff. Am I making you uncomfortable?" Rroan looked away now, her left hand reaching secretly to her bag, ready to leave if he says yes. She had many first meetings that were horrible.

When he told her to stay, she immediately pulled her hand back. Looking into his eyes again, she listened to him finish. "Yeah, you should, Jaysin," Rroan said relaxing enough to be her blunt self. She smiled up at him, assuring him she didn't mean harm. "Oh, and my name is Rroan. Rroan Kiss," she emphasized the Kiss laughing. "And your name is Jay-Sin? Like the 'SIN-ners die alone' on the back of your shirt? That's cool." She nodded as she spoke her assurance. "Did your parents choose that, or did you?"
Rroan was happy; he had told her to stay. She knew he must go to this school because he was in the Student Lounge. She wondered what grade he was in. He couldn't be younger than a Junior. So he could be a Junior or Senior. Hmm... I can't tell, Rroan thought to herself. [/blockquote]

Rroan laughed gently. "No, my parents just wanted to give me a weird name." Rroan paused a second. "I'm not that special," she said sarcastically before laughing again. He seemed to be comfortable, but still out of place. He is better than most. Some just leave once I start being mean or sarcastic. Nice, she thought to herself. "So, you go to this school, obviously." He must, he was in the student lounge. "What year are you? Junior? Senior? Teacher?" She spun the last word lightheartedly. He was definitely not a teacher. (OOC: Oh, gosh! I am getting so horrible! I am sorry! If you need to control my person for a second to make something more happen, please do!

Kick ass? Hmmm.... I wouldn't say that, but oh well, Rroan thought to herself when she heard his comment. Then she asked him his year and after answering, he shot the question back at her. Rroan didn't feel like just telling hers so she commented on his year first. "Your last year, nice," Rroan said with a smile. "I got another year after this one, but I think I will be fine. I mean, as long as the parties continue!" Rroan loved partying and she could make it through anything as long as she had parties to look forward to. The music; the laughter; the control; the dancing; the fighting; the lights; the attractions; the freedom; they were hers! It was her joy in life. "Oh, and the clubs!" she added quickly. The clubs were just as good as the parties.
"Do you like clubs and parties?" Rroan inquired once it occurred to her he might not. She knew he probably played at a few, but did he like going to them otherwise? That was a big turn off for Rroan, even if he was just a friend. How could they be friends if her biggest pleasure he hated?

"Yeah, I agree. You can always find me where the music is." Rroan purposefully left out the alcohol. She didn't drink; she was the voluntary designated driver. She hated the loss of control, and, although people questioned it, they adored the offer to drive them home without a hassle. The only time she didn't offer or carry out was when her temper set in. When she was mad, she would ignore any thing, self-rule, or one. Whether he could figure all that out himself or not wasn't her problem. All she knew was that if he asked, she would answer.
"You do anything other than alcohol?" Rroan said, looking down. In relations to drugs, she meant. Although, again, she didn't do them herself, she liked knowing who did what. They could make their own choice, but if anything happened, she liked to know stuff. Her toes curled and uncurled inside her grey, white, and blue sneakers. Rroan looked back up into his eyes again, an almost neutral expression on her face. The little curiosity that showed didn't reveal her thoughts to him though, only a bit of interest.
